Abstract: Binocular stereo vision is one method which can obtain the 3D information by processing two images from the cameras. The 3D information is presented by depth image. The stereo vision system can be used in auto navigation, industrial detection, visual surveillance, and drive assistance system. With the rapid evolution of hardware, binocular vision based application will become more and more popular.
