Abstract: Based on four case studies and the definition of decision-making examined in national standard “Terminology Work: Principles and Methods” (GB/T 10112—1999), we think that the decision-making includes two stages, i.e., decision planning and decision. Decision planning refers to the formulation of objectives and their implementation plans, and post decision refers to the evaluation or modification of the target and its implementation plan during the implementation process

Key words: decision making, decision science, science decision
