Collection, Editing and Standardization of the Terms in Language Planning

Abstract

Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to collect terms in language planning and language policy based on self-built corpus of the field. By sorting out conceptual system of the field, the terms collected will be compiled into a bilingual terminology manual. By selecting the best translation, recommending authoritative definitions, constructing cross-reference system, and differentiating terminology, we hope this can improve the understanding and use of terms in the field, promote related researches and provide reference for the standardization of terminology.
