Abstract: The Physics Terms,compiled in 1953,is a summary of nearly five decades about the standardization of physics terms. At the same time,it provides a solid foundation for the subsequent validation work in physics terms. The characteristics of the physics terms are as follows:for the purpose of terminology unification,following certain principles of term choosing and naming,examining exactly,collecting views extensively,convenient and practical. We think the Physics Terms(1953)is a collection of achievement in physics terms for nearly 50 years.
