Pronunciation Recommendations on Polyphonic Characters in Terms Based on the Database of Standardized Terms

Abstract

Abstract:

Based on the database of standardized terms in China, this paper puts forward a list of 614 polyphonic characters, involving more than 340 000 terms. The paper analyzes and sorts out the pronunciation of polyphonic characters in terms, studies the phonetic reasons and principles, analyzes the pronunciation of terms with examples, and gives the recommended pronunciation of some terms.
