Abstract: Based on the way of disease nomenclature, we found that there are six basic aspects for disease naming. Moreover, from the analysis of paraphrase element for disease nomenclature, it could be concluded that (1) the six basic aspects for the basis of disease nomenclature are also the basic elements of nomenclature paraphrase; (2) the foundation of disease naming should be the necessary element for paraphrase; (3) disease nature is the necessary element in the paraphrase. Our conclusions reflect the relationship between word form and semantics, and can be used to check and improve the dictionary paraphrase.
