Analysis on the Modern Japanese-Chinese Equivalent Translating Model for Agricultural Science and Technology Terms

Abstract: Equivalent translation is a vital principle and standard for the communications between Japanese and Chinese terminology. Aiming to help translators adapt to the general situations macroscopically and achieve in depth understanding of microscopic details, this paper identifies how equivalent model helps translators achieve structural, semantic and pragmatic equivalence via the surface structure, in depth structure, and socializing effects.
