Suggestions for the Chinese Translation of “Fullerene” and “Fullerite”

摘要/Abstract

摘要： fullerene最初被命名富勒烯。但随着科学发展,fullerene的含义不断扩大,已经不是一种化学物质而是指一大类化学物质,品种非常多,“富勒烯”这个译名已经很不恰当。文章提议使用“富勒体”这个译名取代原有译名,并将相关的fullerite译作“固态富勒体”。

关键词: 富勒烯, 富勒体, 富勒烯晶体, 固态富勒体

Abstract: Fullerene was initially named as “富勒烯”. With the development of science, the meaning of fullerene is not only a chemical substance but also refers to a large class of chemicals with many varieties. The former translated term is no longer appropriate. So we suggest a new translation in the article.
