摘要： 文章分析了映射和函数在不同工具书中定义的异同,并根据定义的不同讨论了形成概念不一致的原因:主要是由于函数概念随着数学的发展不断扩展造成的。文章还探讨了映射、函数、算子、泛函之间的相互关系及在各数学分支中的习惯用法。

Abstract: This paper analyzes the similarities and differences of mapping and function definition in tool books. Based on different definitions, we think the main reason is due to the concept formation inconsistent with the development of the mathematical function concept. We also discuss the relationship among mapping, function, operator and functional, and their idioms in each branch of mathematics.
