Abstract:

Wuqinxi (Five Animal exercise) is one of the cream of Chinese Traditional Sports Classics, and is a precious treasure for all Chinese people and the people all over the world. It is of great strategic significance to promote the excellent traditional sports of China to the world and show the national image. Based on the confusion in the current English translation of Wuqinxi, this article makes an accurate and in-depth analysis of the narrating features of Wuqinxi, and discusses more suitable English translation methods.
