Evolution of Branch Terms in Solid Earth Physics

摘要: 近百年来固体地球物理学的发生、发展和分科术语的演变,尤其是自20世纪70年代至今,新学科分支迅速萌芽和发展,造成新学科名词发生率远超过传播率的局面。把握各学科的发展脉络,及时更新学科分类、介绍与推广科学新词的内涵,就成为创新知识传播的重要组成内容。

Abstract: This paper reviews the growing, development of the Solid Earth Geophysics together with its branch terms. Especially, new branches in this field have frequently been emerging since 1970s, resulting in the creation rate of new scientific terms heavily exceeds their propagation rate. It is thought that keeping the branch development in mind, renewing the division terms and introducing new scientific term to public in time are also important for knowledge creation and generalization.
