真空管道交通术语规范化探讨

摘要/Abstract

摘要： 真空管道交通将是一种比高铁和飞机更快的交通方式,世界范围内的研究开发工作正在进行之中。然而,由于对“真空管道交通”的专业术语理解不一,出现了多个中英文名,给学术交流、开发建设以及向大众普及相关知识造成困扰。文章分析真空管道交通概念起源、近期研究发展,建议把“真空管道交通”确定为规范的中文科技术语,对应的英文名建议选取美国早期研究者使用的vacuum tube transport,在应用中要注意作为科技术语的真空管道交通与其他商标名称的区别。

关键词: 真空管道交通, 术语规范化, 英文表达

Abstract: Vacuum tube transport will be a new transport way which is faster than high-speed railway and airplanes, and the related research and development are being executed all over the world. However, there has been developed many different terms in both Chinese and English, which brought perplex and disorder in communication, development and popularization of vacuum tube transport. Based on analyzing the concept origin and research work in recent years, we think “Vacuum Tube Transport” should be accepted as the standard terminology in English expression, and scientific term and commercial logo should be distinguished in research and communication.
