摘要：

文章追溯了中国术语学研究的兴起及其发展历程,认为中国的术语学研究经历了三个历史时期,从科技翻译理论探索、术语学本体研究,到系统全面健康发展,并聚焦其各具代表性的特点。文章从理论研究和应用研究两个方面,分别描述了术语学发展历程及发展状况。术语学理论研究发端于科技名词术语规范化标准化的工作需求,通过术语学理论指导与丰富了实践活动。在应用研究领域,将术语学理论与中国国情相结合,广泛地应用到名词术语规范化标准化实践活动当中,并逐步深入到新闻出版、外文翻译、辞书编纂等领域,取得很大成就。

Abstract:

Based on tracing the risen and development of terminology research in China, the paper proposed that the research of terminology in China has gone through three historical periods: (1) the exploration of terminology translation theory, (2) the study of terminology ontology, and (3) the comprehensive development of the theory system. The paper also focuses on the characteristics in terminology research, and describes its development process and development status on the theoretical research and applied research. The theoretical research of terminology originated from the demand of terminology standardization, and enriched practical activities through the guidance of terminology theory. In the field of applied research, the theory of terminology is combined with the national conditions of China, widely applied to the practice of standardizing terms, and gradually deepened into the fields of news publishing, foreign language translation, dictionary compilation, etc., achieving great achievements.
