Abstract:

In the global civil aviation industry，key aspects such as flight operations，technical exchanges，and regulatory formulation all rely heavily on effective language communication.Among these，the accuracy of civil aviation terminology translation is of paramount importance，as it directly determines whether misunderstandings and accidents can be avoided，serving as a crucial factor in ensuring the healthy and orderly development of the civil aviation.This paper focuses on the system of civil aviation terminology translation，delving into its system characteristics.It conducts an analysis from four dimensions：autopoiesis，self-reference，other-reference，and communication，revealing the complex nature of the system that is both open and closed.Based on the aforementioned research，this paper further emphasizes that both the civil aviation community and translators must possess a profound and thorough understanding of the operational mechanisms of civil aviation terminology translation.Only in this way can the translators’ translation outcomes gain widespread recognition within the international civil aviation community and be effectively applied in practical work.
