摘要：
将中医术语的翻译规范化,是传播与推广中医药文化的重要之举。《黄帝内经》存在许多一词多义的现象,其中关于“神”的记载内涵广博,可分为中医之神和宗教之神。而在中医语境下,“神”这一概念又有广义与狭义之分。鉴于“神”的含义各有所指,尚未确立统一、规范的英译名称,因此,探讨“神”的英译策略显得尤为重要。在翻译过程中,应充分考虑上下文语境以及古今文化的差异,采取恰当的表达方式以准确传递医学信息,以期为中医术语的英译研究提供有益的参考与借鉴。

Abstract:
Standardizing the translation of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) terminology is crucial for the dissemination and promotion of TCM culture.Huangdi Neijing (hereinafter referred to as Neijing) contains numerous instances of polysemy,particularly in its references to the term “Shen”.The connotations of “Shen”are extensive,encompassing both TCM-specific meanings and religious interpretations.Within TCM,“Shen”can be understood in both broad and narrow senses.Due to the varying implications of “Shen”,a unified and standardized English translation has yet to be established.By exploring strategies for translating “Shen”into English,it is imperative to consider the context and the cultural differences between ancient and modern times throughout the translation process.
