摘要/Abstract

摘要： 1996年《现代汉语词典》第3版开始在附录“西文字母开头的词语”部分收录字母词,至今已经历了三次修订。文章从字母词数量、类别和释义三个方面的变化详细分析了《现代汉语词典》对字母词的收录与修订情况,并讨论了规范字母词使用的必要性和方法,以及规范字母词含义的意义。

Abstract: Lettered-words have been included into “Acronyms and Words Beginning with Greek or Latin Letters” in the Contemporary Chinese Dictionary(the third edition) since 1996. Till now, the appendix has been revised three times. In this paper, we analyze the inclusion and revision of lettered-words from their number, category and explanation, and then further discuss the necessity and method of lettered-words standardization.
