“蒸汽压”和“蒸气压”一辨

Discrimination on Vapor Pressure and Steam Pressure

摘要: 针对人们在“蒸气(汽)压”使用上存在混淆的现象,通过对工具书、教材、网络、科技文献和国家标准中“蒸气压”和“蒸汽压”的定义及应用情况进行查找和比较,认为“蒸气压”即“饱和蒸气压”,是指液体的气态分子对液体产生的压强,作为物理学专业术语,不能写成“蒸汽压”。

Abstract: Based on comprehensively searching and comparing the definition and application of “vapor pressure” and “steam pressure” in reference books, teaching materials, internet, scientific literature and national standards, the author points out that “vapor pressure” means “saturated vapor pressure”, i.e., fluid pressure generated by the gaseous liquid molecules, which should not be expressed as “steam pressure”.
