Abstract: Er'ya is an ancient book focused on explanations and commentaries for Chinese terms.Based on terminology research, the author proposed that Er'ya not only be the first Chinese terminology dictionary, but also the first Chinese encyclopedia dictionary.Furthermore, the author put forward the opinion that Er'ya might be one of the valuable research materials in Chinese terminology history research.
