Abstract:

Russian military terms have linguistic features and domain characteristics, and there are single word form, abbreviated form and multi-word form. Most of them are nouns and noun phrases, but some of them are verb phrases. Polysemy terms are less, but in some new words or some kinds of text, translation also need to be analyzed to rule out the wrong understanding. These characteristics make it necessary to solve difficulties in understanding and translating Russian military terminology, such as the adjustment of word order and the choice of translation. In the translation of large professional and domain text, translators should correctly use terminology, and translate standardized. To enhance the accuracy of translation and work efficiency, we think it is necessary to construct an online sharing term knowledge base.
