摘要：
疾病的定名是中国医学史上的一项重要议题。随着中国综合国力的提升、国际话语权的增强,现今疾病新名词的定名不再是单纯的翻译实践。文章以“新型冠状病毒肺炎”和“非典型性肺炎”为例,对照两者的定名过程,并对相关术语的语义关系及语义成分加以分析,提炼出疾病新名词定名需注意的四方面问题,为疾病定名工作提供些许线索。

Abstract:
The naming of diseases is an important theme in Chinese medical history. With the gradual rise of the national power and the enhancement of international discourse power, the naming of diseases today becomes more than a translation practice. Taking the naming of Corona Virus Disease-19 (COVID-19) and that of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) as examples, this article studies the semantic relations and components of relevant terms, such as xinguan and feidian, and sheds light upon four possible aspects of problems, which can be taken into account when naming new diseases.
