摘要： 术语具有语言文字和科学技术的双重属性。术语工作是一个包含术语生成、术语选择、术语解析、术语知识化的连续体。词汇化可以部分解释术语是如何生成的,术语释义及其知识化则展现了术语是如何被解析的。术语的生成与解析展现了术语的独特性质,有利于明确术语研究的范围和潜在价值。

Abstract: Term has the dual attributes in language and science. Terminology work is a continuum that contains terms' generation, selection, definition and knowledge-based. Lexicalization may partly explain the generation of terms, while definition and knowledge-based of terms show how can term be defined. Generation and definition of terms indicate the unique nature of terminology, and help us to clarify the scope and potential value of terminology research.
