Abstract: Determination of forms,sounds and meanings is an important part of standardization of Chinese terms. On form, term elements, characters, standard names and synonyms should be paid more attention. On sound, spelling rules, phonetic notation of special characters and polyphones should be properly handled. On definition, terms of various form of characteristics should be summarized and demonstrated.
