浅议应用术语学教育

摘要: 我国广大专家学者对术语学也许并不陌生,但是对术语学有深入了解的并不多。为了提高专业人员应用术语学知识的能力,应当借鉴和引用西方的术语学理论和实践成果,借鉴他们在术语学教育和训练方面的经验,结合中国的具体情况,结合汉语的具体特点,广泛开展具体、系统的以实践为导向的应用术语学教育教学,尤其是术语学工作方法知识、术语标准化知识、术语库知识和新术语选择的知识等方面,并加强理论和实践方面的研究。

Abstract: Terminology sounds like something familiar to Chinese researchers in science and technology. But in fact, there are really few specialist on it in China. Fortunately, there are already a few training projects to follow in terminology management. However, Chinese is a language, quite different from those dominating language in science and technology, such as English, French, German, etc. So its important for us to provide practical training on terminology standardization, building and using terminology bank, and creating and selecting new terms.
