On Interpretation of Competence and Competency in Education

摘要:

在21世纪,人才凸显为社会经济发展和全球竞争的重要资源。经济合作与发展组织和欧盟首先构建了新世纪教育蓝图,期望未来人才可以围绕competency、competence发展,继而各国纷纷响应。然而二词在各国的使用、理解、翻译异彩纷呈,为了教育研究,达成国际理解,促进各国教育交流、合作,对二者有待深描和汉译规范。

Abstract:

In the 21st century, human talents are the important resource for social and economic development and global competition. OECD and EU firstly constructed a blueprint for education in the new century, expecting future talents to develop based on competency and competence, and then all countries responded. However, the interpretation and application of the two words varied from country to country, so it is necessary to describe the two terms deeply and standardize their translations, and thus promoting educational exchange and cooperation among countries.
